Boring travel photos
by
Billie Doux
As promised, I've written some text and uploaded photos from my recent trip to Europe. This was my first trip out of the United States; I did the most benign and predictable touristy things. Wanna see a photo of the Mona Lisa?

Eternity yawns at a taping of Will & Grace
by

So I'm only back from Europe for ONE DAY. I walked my feet off during my trip and I'm jet lagged to the nth degree. All I really want to do is lie in my recliner and moan. But friends and I had tickets to see a taping of Will & Grace, one of the few sitcoms I actually like (even though I admit I haven't watched it religiously), and it's damned hard to get tickets to see the really hot sitcoms -- we got the tickets a month in advance.
So we went.
So we went.
Billie Doux's European vacation

I have just returned from ten days in Europe, which is why I'm behind with the Battlestar Galactica and Dead Zone reviews. I should be caught up soon.
This was my very first international trip. Highlights for me were definitely Notre Dame de Paris, which I found absolutely overwhelming, and the impressionist wing of the Musee D'Orsay, which was also a religious experience.
More soon, I promise. I just spent twelve hours on an airplane and I'm still waiting for sensation to return to my limbs.
Like Alias? Try La Femme Nikita

Alias is one of my favorite shows. It's a well-written, well-acted spy drama that focuses on what we fans call Spy Family: Sydney Bristow (Jennifer Garner) and her father, mother, half-sister, lover, and co-workers. It takes spy drama to a new level as it explores the emotional dynamics of those relationships amid the paranoia and violence of the undercover life. The first three seasons are out on DVD and the fourth will be released this fall before the fifth season begins. If you haven't caught the show yet, I highly recommend it. It's engrossing, and highly addictive.
