Winter Premiere Dates 2016

'Twas the winter hiatus, when all through the house
Not a laptop was whirring, nor even a mouse;
We streamed old reruns in a state of despair,
And in hopes that new seasons soon would be there;
The viewers were nestled all snug in their beds;
While visions of premieres danced in their heads;
And Sam in his 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap,
When onto the internet there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the laptop I flew like The Flash,
Tore open the browser and cleared out the cache.
Where what to my wondering eyes did appear,
But a bunch of premiere dates for the New Year.

  1. Looks as though we are spoiled for choice -- again! Love the poem, but that kitten photo is the best ever!

  2. Definitely waiting for The Walking Dead. Why do I love that show? I'm ready to give Josh Holloway another chance. BTW, I saw the first episode of The Expanse last night and it blew me away. Anyone else feel that way?

  3. Lots of great returning shows to look forward to - The 100, Teen Wolf, Sherlock, Agent Carter.

    Also, I do believe we're getting the Doctor Who Christmas special on Christmas Day.

    I definitely agree about The Expanse, Billie. I was basically hooked after that long uncut tracking shot into the deeps of Ceres station and it just got better from there.

    Colony - Hope it's good. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Josh Holloway on my TV again.

    The Librarians - Just finished the first book and about to start the second, so I'm quite curious to see what they'll do with this one. It's Narnia for grownups with a few good gulps of Harry Potter and a rather flawed protagonist.

  4. I added the Doctor Who Christmas Special, Onanymous. Thank you!

    The Librarians, or The Magicians?

  5. PERSON OF INTEREST! *whacks a car with a golf club in frustration*

    We're not British, we're not supposed to make people wait over a year between seasons!

  6. It's like the whole Revolutionary War was for nothing.

    Nothing!

    (Give me PoI or give me death?)

  7. If we don't get PoI soon we're gonna rise up, rise up!

  8. Aaaah, yes, of course I mean The Magicians! Serves me right for trying to write a comment while falling asleep. :D
