Of course Jessica is the opposite of a little girl so this desire of Kilgrave's makes his claims that he loves her even more absurd. He basically wants to domesticate her and keep her as his pet.

percysowner, I was thinking the same thing!Mariannahttp://www.mariannahorn.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-85589924797007134442016-01-01T07:16:37.127-05:002016-01-01T07:16:37.127-05:00And I thought that his power vanishes when he is k...And I thought that his power vanishes when he is knocked up with anesthetics. I don't think so. So, how are they going to know that he died? At first, when he was threatening Jessica, I assumed that he is going to call them, or manifest in some other way. But if he is tied up and tape-gagged, there is no way he would do that, right?

And I thought that his power vanishes when he is knocked up with anesthetics. Hogarth might be desperate, but letting Kilgrave go and expecting him to fulfil his end of the bargain is idiotic beyond belief. I understand she's suppose to parallel Kilgrave in her need for control, but surely that would prevent her from helping someone who could have that much control over her.

Robyn is a mess of a 'character'. Introducing her as a caricature and barely giving her any development means that she basically exists as a plot-device. Convincing the group might have made sense if more time was devoted to them to lay the groundwork for their actions. Why not confront Jessica and demand answers, rather than going straight to assault? Why did Malcolm go with them and not tell Jessica they were outside? Was he forced? Why not run away to call Jessica and warn her?

I get that Ruben's death was weighing on Malcolm, but him confessing such a big secret in an open space like that felt forced. Not to mention Robyn following him and finding out at that exact time.

It made sense that Simpson wanted to kill Kilgrave, but why did he destroy the evidence and kill Clemons? It felt way too convenient. The pills he's taking are clearly causing him to not think clearly, but it just feels like sloppy writing in order to get rid of the evidence. Speaking of the pills, why would you tell him he only needs one red pill, yet give him a whole bottle?

I like a lot of stuff about this show like the character work with Kilgrave and Jessica and the themes the show is bringing forward, but the plot contrivances are really dragging it down for me. I can forgive plot-holes, but it is incredibly frustrating when shows have plot driving character rather than the other way round. SD tells us that the pills he gives Simpson were bad enough in the past that they led to The Incident, in a way the makes it clear the TI needs to be capitalized. Then he just hands Simpson an entire bottle of pills. No instructions for use. No monitoring, nothing. It felt to me like a blatant move to get Simpson in place for whatever was going to happen with him using the pills and it made SD incredibly stupid.percysownerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01524512417823662079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-69608416660409596202015-12-02T09:51:41.363-05:002015-12-02T09:51:41.363-05:00"created by Frank Miller in one of my least-f..."created by Frank Miller in one of my least-favorite Daredevil issues."

You didn't like the "Born Again" story arc?
