The utter lack of concern for Olivia save on Peter's part was appalling, the lust for Astrid was extremely pervy & previous Bell gave 0 indications he was like that. While I think she acted well, I couldn't stand the voice adopted for Bellavia. I had to mute the entire show and put subs on.Zanziahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14761977822896682037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-84022950024155207772013-01-28T14:22:15.850-05:002013-01-28T14:22:15.850-05:00Watching this as part of a DVD marathon, what stru...Watching this as part of a DVD marathon, what struck me about Lincoln's Sesame Street quotation (yay Sesame Street!) was - poor Peter, no he probably hasn't watched Sesame Street, and if he did he probably doesn't remember it. So let's dig that knife in again while he's dealing with someone who looks like his girlfriend but isn't his girlfriend for the second time within a matter of weeks...Juliettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00203399623895589924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-84778591858289946202011-11-02T17:53:24.368-04:002011-11-02T17:53:24.368-04:00Yay, Lincoln Lee. They should quickly book him for next season before some other show swoops in and signs him.

This was a really solid episode even with Bellivia around. All that joking around with Walter made bringing Bell back almost worth it.Patrykhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13662838711958747484noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-44357256897393980982011-11-01T17:40:20.685-04:002011-11-01T17:40:20.685-04:00I was kind of tired when I started this one, but P...I was kind of tired when I started this one, but Paula Malcomson piqued my curiosity. Then we met the Over Here version of Lincoln Lee, and I got so excited that I managed to hang in through the entire episode. Love the nerdy look! I was actually disappointed that Olivia didn't get to meet him.

I'm not sure what to make of Olivia channeling Belly for the hour. It was entertaining at times, and just strange and awkward at others. At least I got a good chuckle out of Astrid buttoning up her blouse. :)Jess Lyndehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14165015932507376656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-733811306517185482011-09-17T19:23:36.578-04:002011-09-17T19:23:36.578-04:00I kept thinking all this was set-up for Trixie the...I kept thinking all this was set-up for Trixie the whore to become Bell. Is he going to turn out a spy from Over There, or are they going to kill off some major characters by the end and they're setting up a potential replacement? It wasn't until I read your review, Josie, that I realized who he was.

Lovely (and crucially informative) review as always, Josie.Dimitri A.C. I wouldn't want this forever, but it's a good beat to play out. I almost jumped for joy in seeing Linc as the nerdy agent (as opposed to the commando hero from over there...). Great to see him and hope he comes back!Michael Colvinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14652603242977963534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-18702073463280106772011-03-21T02:12:48.964-04:002011-03-21T02:12:48.964-04:00One of the best, if not the best Fringe episodes. ...One of the best, if not the best Fringe episodes. It had a little of everything. I loved the interaction between Bell & Walter, it makes me wish we had seen more of Bell in the past. I do agree there's a sinister edge to Bell and his motives. What is he up too?

I too wondered about Bell saying he lived a long time. Has he used the soul magnets before? Is he some sort of immortal? Is he one of the first ones? Did he build the machine? I'm looking forward to the rest of season 3 and hopefully a season 4…

Ictus75Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
