The problem is that these traits are compounded by the fact that she is an alcoholic. What bothered me about that scene was that Veronica spent every penny she had (and then some as she is overdrawn), and the rehab probably won't take.

I dealt with an alcoholic for years. Getting them into rehab by telling them you want them to do it for you doesn't work. They need to hit rock bottom and they need to go in for themselves. Unfortunately, Lianne is nowhere near rock bottom.

The interrogation scene between Keith and Jake also upset me. It seems clear to me that Keith knew who was in that hotel room with Jake. He was pushing for details that, while they did trip up Celeste, obviously upset him a great deal.ChrisBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10843864158239536750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-18411621730873538572013-12-25T20:21:46.096-05:002013-12-25T20:21:46.096-05:00Billie, I am so with you on your feelings about Li...Billie, I am so with you on your feelings about Lianne. Veronica and her dad deserve so much better but I also know that alcoholism can take a person down roads they never imagined so I'm not surprised. It is funny how connected you get to the characters in this show.drnanamomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03667806039402426676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-23982724381380639932010-10-20T05:42:46.510-04:002010-10-20T05:42:46.510-04:00Another great one and once again, they worked the ...Another great one and once again, they worked the episode pretty well. It was funny when it needed to be and serious when it needed to be too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
