They have had SO many changes in the cast during the British years of the show; you had barely had time to get attached to a character and bang ! Gone.

Since this one already aired over here (in Canada), it did have some good moments, but not enough to guarantee its renewal. On the positive side, I do recommend the episode where Colin Ferguson plays, yes, a bad guy.

Oh, and I hate that, it ended with a cliffhanger, of course !celticmarchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06018881585193380762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-64773750567813197772013-06-11T03:20:19.546-04:002013-06-11T03:20:19.546-04:00Aaron Tveit is the one to whom Anonymous is referr...Aaron Tveit is the one to whom Anonymous is referring. He plays the main character, the "new guy" in the house which gave the writers a great excuse for a huge amount of early exposition. He is, indeed, very easy on the eyes.

Graceland is filled with eye candy of both sexes. In fact, during the first half of the show when I wasn't enjoying it so much, I wrote "pretty people on a pretty beach" in my notes.

The show did pick up in the second half and, like I said, the twist at the end really surprised and intrigued me. While I am far from in love with the show, I will watch the next few episodes to see where they take it.ChrisBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10843864158239536750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-69369869882192295132013-06-10T22:27:21.664-04:002013-06-10T22:27:21.664-04:00"Y'know, people underestimate the value o..."Y'know, people underestimate the value of a good ramble." - Buffy, Reptile Boy.

Aaron Tviet is in Graceland? I don't know how good he'll be on a television show, but he is an amazing singer and had been in many broadway shows including Wicked as Fiyero, Next to Normal (one of the best boradway shows ive ever seen) as Gabriel, and Catch Me If You Can as Frank Abagnale Jr. (Where I had the chance to see him live). He was also Enjolras in Les Mis, which was one of my favorite movies of the year. Also he grew up in Middletown, which is where I live, si I would probably love him even if he was awful. This first episode was shaky but I really hope both he and the show do well. The role that she was required to play was well outside her range as an actress and she was embarrassingly bad. I found myself feeling sorry for her, the actress not the character whom I was meant to feel sorry for. Not good.ChrisBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10843864158239536750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-61351555355749105432013-06-10T19:41:36.438-04:002013-06-10T19:41:36.438-04:00Heyoo! Hmmm, the british one on which it is based was rather decent from what I can recall (at it has Anna Torv seducing (or falling for)the actress who played the wife on Terra Nova :D) so it has that going for it.
