The dress/negligee was gorgeous and very cleverly cut, but this wasn't the kind of episode where they could keep hiding her behind props, and it showed quite often (even in the shots from behind, she was moving differently). I'm very impressed by the amount of action they managed to get away with, but there was a certain amount of cognitive dissonance creeping in.

Guess next week's ep was filmed quite a bit later, as she's wearing a seriously impressive corset and back in the leather!jencathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06760127090293409589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-49219131590335940122014-01-30T20:29:26.750-05:002014-01-30T20:29:26.750-05:00I have to echo pretty much everything Jess said. L...I have to echo pretty much everything Jess said. Love your reviews, Mark. Didn't hate it. Morrigan yes, Tamsin please, wig and Clio no! :)Billie Douxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17141769005175631213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-84023121820983535862014-01-30T18:38:13.210-05:002014-01-30T18:38:13.210-05:00I didn't actually mind this one so much. (But...I didn't actually mind this one so much. (But I'm very much enjoying your reviews for this season thus far, Mark!) I pretty much hated all the Lauren bits, and I wasn't too keen on the central dilemma for that family, but I liked having Bo back. Even if it came at the expense of Kenzi, Tamsin, Hale, and Trick. It was just fun to have her in the mix and getting her ass-kicking groove back. And the Morrigan in Lauren's apartment (or apartment that was supposed to be different but looked shockingly similar) was fun, too.

I don't think Bo killed Clio. I think she said something about death with a smile being too good for her. So I interpreted that as she sucked just enough mojo out of her to knock her out, but not kill her. But I could easily be wrong. It was not at all clear.

I'm also not certain if Lauren got spy banged or not. (Even though she clearly got her wig from The Americans prop department. Those things have the "can withstand vigorous sex" certification.) I thought maybe her new friend went into work, learned about the big, fat reward for info on 'Karen' and then turned her over to get the money she needed for the farm. But I guess she could have been working with the "bad guys" all along. Clarity really isn't this show's strong point. I often find myself completely perplexed by some of the stuff transpiring. What the ... huh?

So. Now that we have Bo back, can we get the adult version of Tamsin back? Please?Jess Lyndehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14165015932507376656noreply@blogger.com
