I'm not sure why I don't, but it's always rubbed me the wrong way.Billie Douxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17141769005175631213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-27675883235316774212021-06-16T20:03:58.411-04:002021-06-16T20:03:58.411-04:00An amazing assembly of StarTrek variations. Technically The Orville isn't StarTrek, but it's so much founded on StarTrek, especially The Next Generation, and so very much in tune with the Star Trek ethos of that period in a way that isn't true of much of the later variations that it merits a place here.

Gerontius
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-82024897257334762452018-09-14T11:38:57.309-04:002018-09-14T11:38:57.309-04:00CoramDeo, that is hilarious.CoramDeo, that is hilarious.Billie Douxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17141769005175631213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-65149566841962444632018-09-12T21:55:07.585-04:002018-09-12T21:55:07.585-04:00Speaking of forgetting about Star Trek V, the nove...Speaking of forgetting about Star Trek V, the novel 'The Autobiography of James T. Kirk' actually tried to write it out of canon. They used the law of parallel planetary development that made an alien Roman Empire show up in 'Bread and Circuses', and said that Star Trek V was a movie made on a planet that developed similarly. Kirk, Spock, and McCoy visited the planet and watched the movie. Like everyone else, of course, they hated it.CoramDeohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14510669006452859585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-47482658305264392102018-09-12T17:11:39.400-04:002018-09-12T17:11:39.400-04:00Done, CoramDeo -- thanks.

This piece came about because I wanted to create a list that I could add as a related link to all of the different Trek series, like our MCU list. But when I was putting it together, it kind of got long. :) Billie Douxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17141769005175631213noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-88069211115283145462018-09-12T15:43:14.955-04:002018-09-12T15:43:14.955-04:00Phew that's a lot of Star Trek. That's literally all I have to contribute to this discussion, having only seen a few episodes of Next Gen.sunbunnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08553429350476841139noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-26237494869790850722018-09-12T15:33:41.215-04:002018-09-12T15:33:41.215-04:00Since the fourth Kelvin timeline film is on here, ...Since the fourth Kelvin timeline film is on here, you may want to add the Quentin Tarantino Trek film currently in development.CoramDeohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14510669006452859585noreply@blogger.com
