I found her (all of you guys) in January when I started to review S1 for this site. The whole thing just makes me so happy.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13953652907115935895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-91648735264720389232014-04-05T15:18:30.794-04:002014-04-05T15:18:30.794-04:00I love how you said sinister for an interpretation...I love how you said sinister for an interpretation of Alana's looks! Especially given 'Futamono's' outcomes.
Great catch about the sashimi.
I too loved the scene with the orderly. The execution etc. all wonderful.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13953652907115935895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-32754866328549122242014-04-05T15:13:27.000-04:002014-04-05T15:13:27.000-04:00Oh cool about the book reference. And of course your recaps are great too. Eddie Izzard returned, that was cool. Now look what you've done! Though I guess she did save Will from becoming a murderer. Still man, it could've all ended here. I agree that Alana looked extra fetching in this episode, almost vampy. It actually made her come off a little sinister to me. I wonder if that was intentional (with this show, it most likely was).

The orderly was incredibly creepy. That scene where he raced Hannibal in the pool was so off putting, it was amazing. It was interesting to me that he had a rather utilitarian approach to his kills as opposed to Hannibal's controlled theatrics. It was practically a slap to the face to suggest that he would take Hannibal's place as the Ripper.

It's interesting to note that the title of this episode is generally sliced sashimi. Which is certainly how Beverly's crime scene looked.Freemanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11265555641080269765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-69278695252569279192014-04-04T01:35:53.603-04:002014-04-04T01:35:53.603-04:00Actually, that scene with Hannibal almost crucifie...Actually, that scene with Hannibal almost crucified was very close to the same scene in "Hannibal" book (or movie). And, as in the book, Hannibal was joking while being tortured.

It's explained in the book that he'd gone to his mind palace, where there is no torture.migmithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06981055611018991476noreply@blogger.com
