I never understood why shows have been allergic to this lol.. actually even here it eventually goes back to white text on black but still. Impressive, very nice.
Him rocking out in the police car to the overhead shot of it exploding where his head was is a really cool shot. I'm glad I rewatched Hannibal v recently so I'm not just constantly tempted to go back to it. I can't believe I actually missed the arty-fartsy. I watched the one season wonder that was Rubicon and I had such a struggle readjusting to the drier style of conspiracy storytelling.
Aubrey Plaza was excellent and completely distracting, it's almost a good thing she was killed off if she's not gonna be the main focusOnigirlihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10070327483035350298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13727952.post-64663336621237100012017-02-13T12:39:19.701-05:002017-02-13T12:39:19.701-05:00Yes, what Mallena said. As much as I don't want to commit to yet another Marvel property (so many! so very many) this first chapter really did blow me away. I was mesmerized when I watched it and I'm saving the season on my DVR so I can watch it again when the season is over. Maybe it will all make sense then.

I couldn't get over the way that Dan Stevens looked. If it wasn't for a few wrinkles, I'd swear that the actor was in his twenties and that I didn't know who he was. Two things ruined Downton Abbey for me to watch again - Dan Stevens leaving and Anna's assault. I'll forgive Dan now because he is so great in this. I loved trying to figure out what was real and what was not. I also kept trying to figure out what time period they were in. His sister was wearing a sweater set and I haven't seen those in forever. It also struck me that Syd was wearing all black in the last sequence, but had a bright red ribbon in her hair while bad guys were shooting at her. That was a bad choice when someone is trying to aim a gun at you. Is she real? Is anyone?

So yeah, I loved this. It was beautiful to look at and very well done. That reminds me of another show that was beautifully done - Lemony Snicket - which I want to review when I find the bloody time. I need more hours in the day. It also didn't help that we had a 6 hour power outage yesterday so I couldn't watch anything or get on-line. Anyhow, so glad you are reviewing this, you're amazing.Mallenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11368492098724611717noreply@blogger.com
