Welcome to Stars Hollow, a tiny Connecticut hamlet. It’s Cheers meets Wonderland, with more wackadoo and less beer. It’s also the home of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, your two new best friends, and the stars of this show.

Mom Lorelai and daughter Rory are the focus of this dramedy, but the supporting players—from grandparents to boyfriends to best friends and colleagues—help bring the wacky, fascinating world of the Gilmores into full relief.

In its original iteration, Gilmore Girls ran for seven seasons, from 2000 to 2007. A limited-run reboot is now available on Netflix (November 2016).
