Doom Patrol – The World's Strangest Heroes. Predating the X-men by a handful of months, The Doom Patrol features a group of misfits whose powers and abilities isolate them from the rest of humanity, leaving them to band together in the mansion of a reclusive genius/millionaire who fashions them into a force for good. At least, they would do if they weren't far too busy viewing their powers as disabilities and wallowing in a much weirder end of the villain pool. Think "X-Men, but with a lot more self pity and F-Bombs, plus the occasional psychotic garden animal" and you're in the ballpark.
Doom Patrol (2019-2023) features Robot Man (Brendan Fraser), Negative Man (Matt Bomer), Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), Cyborg (Joivan Wade), and Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero), led by recurring guest star 'The Chief' Niles Caulder (Timothy Dalton).
