Batwoman (2019-2022), the sixth Berlanti-verse show to air on The CW, initially starred Ruby Rose as Kate Kane, who picked up the mantle of the Bat from her cousin Bruce Wayne/Batman. Rose's departure shifted the lead to Javicia Leslie's Ryan Wilder.
