Set in a murky not-too long ago, Gotham (2014-2019) shows a new chapter in the life of one of the most popular superheroes of our time. The series follows a nascent Batman and his city as they evolve towards the creation of the famous, or infamous, superhero. The story is told through the eyes of a young Jim Gordon, then a rising star in the Gotham police force and reworks the traditional Batman mythos with a modern, and even darker, twist as we see the origin of the series' most famous supervillains.

Our coverage of Gotham began with Joseph Santini, continued through most of the series with Thomas Ijon Tichy, and concluded with Aaron Studer. Thanks so much, guys.
