The Agents of D.O.U.X. (that's what the writers here on Doux Reviews call ourselves) have reviewed many holiday-related movies, and of course, there's the sometimes wonderful but often awkward Christmas episodes of our favorite TV shows. We've even done holiday gift guides and Christmas cookie recipes. Links to everything Christmas-related we've written are below.
Christmas Movies
Batman Returns. The best Christmas superhero film ever made. Also, as far as we know, the only Christmas superhero film ever made.
A Christmas Carol. This 1984 TV movie starring George C. Scott is Billie's all time Christmas favorite.
A Christmas Story. The story of Ralphie's quest for a Red Ryder beebee gun has become a Christmas classic.
Die Hard. Now I have a machine gun. Ho ho ho.
It's a Wonderful Life. Possibly the best Christmas movie ever.
Gremlins. A Christmas horror movie for children. What's not to love?
Joyeux Noel (Merry Christmas). This film on the 1914 Christmas Truce is about peace, love, friendship and goodwill to all men.
Love, Actually. It's one of those kinds of movies that you’ll probably only like if you like that sort of thing.
The Muppet Christmas Carol. An awesome, hilarious, and adorable movie that is guaranteed to make you smile.
Violent Night. Santa Claus meets Die Hard.
