Mr. Robot: whoami: Series Finale Part One
by
Logan Cox
“Okay, this guy is definitely not me. And I am definitely not him.”
For awhile, I could not decide whether or not to write my thoughts on the two-part series finale of Mr. Robot as one gargantuan review or as two separate reviews entirely. But upon going over them again, I came to the conclusion that each of the two parts are so different from one another that it was best to go the separate route.

“This secret was never mine to keep. And you deserve better than to spend so long in darkness.”
You'd expect this one to be a breather after the bombs that got dropped previously, but it turned out to be quite the opposite.

Elliot: He just wants a show. Let’s give him a show.
Vera: That’s right. I’ll be sittin’ right here, eatin’ my popcorn.
For a show that specializes in crafting a unique hour of television every week, you’d think it wouldn’t still be able to wow me after four seasons. Well, I’ve just been wowed again.

"There it is. That sense of dread. It only happens when you cross a line you didn't even know existed..."
Although every episode this season has felt as if it were building up to something greater, this one takes the cake.

“It’s time we talked.”
This show has always known how to incorporate these clever little gimmicks. This episode is no exception.

“Something inside you is telling you to stop looking the other way. That can start here.”
This show is wasting no time in emphasizing that sense of finality. Which is not to say it hasn't got any more surprises up its sleeve, oh no.

“Goodbye, friend.”
Endings can be sad, but I’d be lying if I claimed to not be intrigued to see where this crazy story is going to go.

Since I only saw a few movies, this last year, I’ll do an all television review. Nowadays, there are so many great shows and so many great ways to watch them, that I don’t even have to leave the house. I don’t have to pay big bucks for a tub of popcorn and an over-sized drink, either. Anyway, let’s begin, shall we?Mr. Robot: eps3.6_fredrick+tanya.chk

"Nothing creates profit quite like global conflict."
Needless to say, this isn't really a happy holidays kind of show. That works out for me, since my holidays aren't particularly happy right now.

We have another race against time. As if last episode wasn't intense enough. Stage 2 has begun.
