As the saying goes, life ain't fair. In the world of the dramatic arts, not everything that's popular really deserves the adulation, and many great works never achieve the success they should have, or fade into undeserved obscurity after a short stint in the spotlight. In the spirit of celebrating forgotten favorites and overlooked gems, we once more present for your consideration five great films that you probably haven't seen and (except for the first one) may not even have heard of.

Star Trek The Next Generation: A Matter of Perspective

Picard: "Investigator, in our system of jurisprudence a man is innocent until proved guilty."
Krag: "In ours, he is guilty until he is proved innocent and you are under our jurisdiction."

Based on the old theme of a story told from multiple perspectives and epitomized by the 1951 Akira Kurosawa movie Rashomon, this episode tried to tackle a murder mystery with Riker as the primary suspect. Pretty much every show has some version of this particular plot at some point during its run. Some have been great, some not so much. Here, the results were mixed.

Farscape: The Ugly Truth

Using the familiar plot device the Rashomon Effect, this episode was an exploration of character that turned out to be one of the most successful episodes of the season.
