The Walking Dead: The Well

"I don't know what the hell's going on, in the most wonderful way."

They managed to follow up the most upsetting episode in the series with the funniest. What a surprise.

The Walking Dead: The Day Will Come When You Won't Be

Well, that was brutal. Too brutal. Actually, could they promise me right now, this evening, that no one else is going to die this season?

The Walking Dead: East

"It's all a circle. Everything gets a return."

This was very much a penultimate sort of episode, leaving us with a huge cliffhanger for what will undoubtedly be an intense season finale.

The Walking Dead: Twice As Far

"I've changed, adapted. I'm a survivor."

I kept laughing throughout this episode, even though I could actually feel the approaching doom.

The Walking Dead: The Same Boat

"Meet us on the kill floor."

Five women in a "safe house." Doesn't sound like a plot that would descend into gut wrenching horror, does it?

The Walking Dead: Knots Untie

"Brave new world."

There is a change in tone this season, isn't there? Our survivors are starting to think about having an actual future, about living instead of just surviving.

The Walking Dead: The Next World

"If this is the next world, I hope it's good for you guys."

What a lovely way to give the fans of this show some respite after last week's super intense blow-out. And we didn't just get respite.

The Walking Dead: No Way Out

"Nibble on that."

How do you start a review for an episode like this one? OMFG? A thousand exclamation points?

The Walking Dead: Heads Up

"Things aren't as simple as four words. I don't think they ever were."

Definitely a calm before the storm type of episode.

The Walking Dead: Always Accountable

"Self-awareness is a beautiful thing."

A Walking Dead character piece. I like this sort of thing.

The Walking Dead: Now

"This is what life looks like now."

We seem to be having an exceptional sixth season so far. While this episode wasn't as amazing and/or shocking as the last few, it continued what might be a series course correction toward optimism. Unless they're lulling us with false hope.

The Walking Dead: JSS

Morgan: "You don't have to kill people."
Carol: "Of course we do."

You think maybe Rick was right that everyone in Alexandria should be armed and trained?

The Walking Dead: First Time Again

Could this be a symbolic crossroads for Rick as a character?
"I don't take chances any more."

My favorite show about the hopeless fight for survival during the apocalypse is back!

Fear the Walking Dead: The Good Man

"Be brutal."

As I expected, we got a violent blow-out walkers versus Army finale. And it was fine, as violent blow-out finales go. It was absorbing and watchable and I was invested enough in the characters to care how it came out.
