The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

This review contains some spoilers (although nothing more than what the trailers have already spoiled).

This is an extremely competent adaptation. It is gorgeous, well written, well acted, and appropriately heartwrenching in places. It is absolutely an improvement over the first installment – only, because it's a middle chapter, things didn't wrap up in an entirely satisfactory way.
