This was a rip-off of the Stephen King novel Thinner, with a dash of V thrown in for flavor. So to speak. Let's see. A deer and a high school boy both suffer from an attack by what seems to be a fat-sucking vampire. Clark and Pete's friend Jodie magically gets a lot thinner overnight and is acting very strangely. No one puts two and two together. Uh huh.
Clark stood Lana up for the second time, and on her birthday, in order to rescue someone. But he covered well with that do-it-yourself drive-in movie near the barn.
Bits and pieces:
— Lex met Chloe as well as Dr. Hamilton, the Rock Doc.
— Clark: "I can't believe we're creeping around looking for road kill."
Bleah. One star,
Billie

Billie Doux had a love-hate relationship with Smallville, which is why some of her reviews are briefer than they should be.
I didn't think this one was as bad as you seemed to. Unfortunately, the writers took an important topic (eating disorders among teens) and made it a tad silly.
ReplyDeleteBut, the final scene at the "drive-in" has always moved me. You just gotta love a superhero with that much romance in his soul.
Yeah I felt pretty in easy with this episode cause it's a serious health issue teens have
