The MTV Movie Awards 2015

To keep us going between movie award season and television award season, MTV handed out its Movie Awards last night.

Last year's show was so dire, I couldn't force myself to watch again this year. Looking at the winners, it doesn't appear as though I missed all that much. As you read through this list, you will notice that many of the winners appeal to the demographic that I left many years ago. Perhaps I have just outgrown MTV. Be that as it may, here is the list of this year's winners:

Best Comedic Performance: Channing Tatum, 22 Jump Street

Best Male Performance: Bradley Cooper, American Sniper

Best Scared as Shit Performance: Jennifer Lopez, The Boy Next Door

Best Movie: The Fault in our Stars
Best Female Performance: Shailene Woodley, The Fault in our Stars
Best Kiss: Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley, The Fault in our Stars

Best Musical Moment: Jennifer Lawrence, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part One
Best On-Screen Transformation: Elizabeth Banks, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part One

Best Villain: Meryl Streep, Into the Woods

Best Hero: Dylan O'Brien, The Maze Runner
Best Breakthrough Performance: Dylan O'Brien, The Maze Runner
Best Fight: Will Poulter and Dylan O'Brien, The Maze Runner

Best Shirtless Performance: Zac Efron, Neighbors
Best WTF Moment: Rose Byrne and Seth Rogan, Neighbors
Best On-Screen Duo: Dave Franco and Zac Efron, Neighbors

MTV Generation Award: Robert Downey, Jr.

Agree or disagree, have at it in the comments. Let us know what you thought of the show or think of the winners.
