Newsflash: Lucifer rescued by Netflix!

We've just learned that Netflix has rescued Lucifer. TVLine says that we'll be getting a ten-episode season four.

Woo hoo! Season three had been sort of plodding along, but the last two episodes of the season were amazing and I've been dying to know what happens next. So I'm a happy camper. (Let me clarify that I'm talking about "Quintessential Deckerstar" and "A Devil of My Word," not the two episodes released after the cancellation.) I'm also already fantasizing about the possibility of Lucifer unleashed, as in less censorship.

What do you guys think?

  1. YAY!!!!!!

I'm really glad that Netflix (a service that I actually have) decided to pick Lucifer up. I'm a little less glad about the short episode order, but hopefully that means that they'll really focus in on the story ar and avoid some of the issues that Season 3 had.

  2. Now Lucifer can join the Defenders in a cross-over! :)

  3. I'm very happy.

Crossovers, please, no crossovers. ;-) At least not if these ten episodes are all we get. We need payoff on the main storyline. Zero distraction.

  4. I am also hoping for no crossovers. And I am glad that these episodes will be coming from Netflix, a service I respect, rather than Fox.

  5. I also hope they explain exactly where Lucifer's money comes from.
