What is everyone watching this week? Do you watch anything special on Halloween? I used to watch the Buffy Halloween episodes around this time of year, since I'm not a horror movie fan.

Happy Halloween weekend, all! It’s that wonderful time of year when my family expresses its artistic and geeky sides through the bizarre medium of pumpkins. Woot! We’ve been feeding the offspring a steady diet of All Things Nerd this year, which paid dividends when it came time to choose designs for the 2014 pumpkin collection. Enjoy!

If you've read my 'About Me' blurb, you know I love writing, cooking, and watching television. But another favorite creative outlet is carving pumpkins for Halloween! Over the last couple years, we've been improving our techniques and tools, and though we'll never reach the heights of the professionals, we've produced some jack-o'-lanterns that we are very proud to show off to the neighborhood. Enjoy!

This year we've compiled the thoughts of some of our writers in order to celebrate this spooky time of year. So without further ado...
