Man in Black: "You are the best liar I've ever met."

Faraday: "It doesn't matter what we do. Whatever happened, happened."
Sawyer: "Thanks anyway, Plato."
I got a huge charge out of this episode. It was surprising. Fun. Sort of delicious. Complicated. Also confusing. But hey, way fun. Maybe I was just ready for a Sawyer episode after the doom and gloom and religious symbolism of the last episode. Or maybe I just like Sawyer better than Locke. Probably both.

Sawyer: "That's why you never get attached. Because once you care, that's when they can come atcha."

Sawyer: "You run, I con. Tiger don't change its stripes."
When the series began, a lot of the interpersonal conflict on the Island was caused by Sawyer. Just a couple of weeks ago, I was thinking that having Sawyer so integrated into the gang was adorable, but eliminated a great source of conflict. Guess the writers felt the same way.

Sawyer: "Oh, that hog is going to suffer. I swear to God."
This may be the closest we'll get to a comic episode. I thought it was terrific.

Jack: "It doesn't have to be this way."
Sawyer: "Yeah, it does."
Better than last week's. And that's not a reflection on Charlie versus Sawyer, because I'm starting to like Charlie – and bleeding soul or no bleeding soul, Sawyer still creeps me out.
