Discussion: What's Your Best of 2024?

The Agents of DOUX have submitted their Best of 2024 lists, but that doesn't mean we've got a comprehensive database of the good, the bad, and the weird.

Morella's Best of 2024

"Pineapples on pizza!? Nooooooo!!"

For my 2024 top ten list, I’m going with "Top ten classic horror/sci-fi movies I’ve watched this year but haven’t made a review for…yet." Not the catchiest title but fitting. I did watch several of Christopher Lee’s Dracula films, but didn’t want that to dominate the list, so I took just one from the series that I haven’t reviewed yet. So without further ado, despite the reaction of our sailor friend from The Monster that Challenged the World, here is the list of worthwhile films, in ascending order.

Josie’s Best of 2024

It was neither the best of times nor the worst of time for me this year: I read and watched a lot, but there were very few standouts. Many books I simply didn’t finish; many shows, ditto. I haven’t seen a movie in the theaters since Oppenheimer.

An Honest Fangirl's Best of 2024

I'm up next for our yearly recaps. This was a year that I spent almost more time playing games than I did watching anything, but I still managed to discover a couple of gems that I will remember fondly and continue to rewatch in the years to come.

Juliette's Best of 2024

Thank you as ever to Billie and everyone at Doux Reviews for letting me come back and write one of these every year even when I haven't had time to write anything else for the site since the last one! I do love doing them.:)
