Valentine's Day Discussion! Who is Your Favorite TV Couple?

What's your favorite movie or TV couple, or kiss? The Agents of Doux just discussed this topic thoroughly in the writers' room. And of course, spoiler warning. If you've never seen all of certain TV shows, especially Buffy, there is some risk of spoilage.

Billie Doux: My favorite television couple ever, like this is a surprise, is...

Outlander: A Hundred Thousand Angels

As a fan and reader of the book series, this television adaptation rarely surprises me. This time it most certainly did.

Outlander: Written in My Own Heart's Blood

"Something feels different this time."

I like foreshadowing. Really, I do. But come on!

Outlander: Ye Dinna Get Used to It

Is this John Grey's season, or what?

Outlander: Hello, Goodbye

A sweet wedding, a sickening dose of 1980s sexism, and a touching but bizarre family reunion. A lot going on in this one.

Juliette's Best of 2024

Thank you as ever to Billie and everyone at Doux Reviews for letting me come back and write one of these every year even when I haven't had time to write anything else for the site since the last one! I do love doing them.:)

Outlander: Carnal Knowledge

An episode in which there is way too much hitting.

Outlander: A Hundredweight of Stones

"Think of the deer, my dear."

I'm so loving this season. Half-season. Whatever.

Outlander: Brotherly Love

The title is appropriate, and not just because a lot of the action took place in the occupied city of brotherly love. There was indeed a lot of love – brotherly, cousin-ly, brothers from other mothers.

And oddly, with several unknown parents in the mix.

Outlander: Unfinished Business

Yes, the wait was way too long. But this episode was awesome.

Billie’s Best of 2023: Happy Twentieth!

My twin cats Kara and Dax
What I watched this year, the state of the site, and the state of me.

Can you believe it? Doux Reviews will turn twenty in March of 2024. That is something to celebrate. And we will! Want to know how?

Outlander: Turning Points

A lot of this season – so far, anyway – has echoed Outlander's second, with Jamie and Claire once again traveling with a rebel army. Maybe that's why I've been enjoying it so much.

Outlander: Where the Waters Meet

Claire makes an unexpected visit to the British side of the conflict, and discovers that Jamie Fraser's son is a lot like Jamie Fraser.

Outlander: Singapore

Another busy episode full of plot advancement. And interestingly, a huge helping of sexism.

Outlander: A Most Uncomfortable Woman

An uneven episode with many enjoyable moments, but a few too many coincidences.

Outlander: Death Be Not Proud

This episode was sad and unsettling, but oddly sweet.

Outlander: The Happiest Place on Earth

Jamie: "If one day you should meet a very large mouse named Michael, tell him your grandsire sends his regards."

I daresay this was one of the best episodes in the series. Every scene blew me away.

Outlander: A Life Well Lost

How I wish they'd been able to tack this episode onto the end of last season, where it belonged. But it was still a powerful episode.

NewsFlash: Outlander Will End With Season Eight

It had to happen sometime, but I'm not sure I'm ready. It was just announced that Outlander will end with season eight.
