There are a lot of vampire films out there, some good, some very very bad. I can't begin to say I've seen them all, but I've seen more than my fair share. Vampires are a fantasy creature that I've always been a fan of. So when a new dark vampire film comes out (hell, it doesn't have to be dark), I tend to go see it without hesitation. To say I've been disappointed a few times would be an understatement.
Byzantium didn't disappoint. In fact, I'd say this is one of the better vampire films ever made.
