Below is (1) a non-spoilery review and (2) a complete synopsis of Virgins, a novella by Diana Gabaldon featuring Jamie Fraser and Ian Murray as young mercenaries in 1740 France.
Virgins is available in the collection of Outlander novellas entitled Seven Stones to Stand or Fall (2012). The synopsis is basically for those of you who aren't reading every word written by Gabaldon and just want to know what happens.

Book Review: A Breath of Snow and Ashes
by
Billie Doux
A Breath of Snow and Ashes is the sixth book in Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series.
What I usually write is a two-part review, and then I compare the book to the corresponding season of the series. Since season six is still in production (it is now July 2021), I'm going to shake things up a bit with:

Outlander: The Novel
by
ChrisB
This is a novel that is hard to define. Part historical fiction, part science fiction, part fantasy, a lot romance, it defies easy characterization. Much like the world it portrays. As the television series unfolds, we are going to use this page as the place to discuss differences between the series and the book as well as spoilers. If you don't want to know what's coming next, wait to read this until the end of the series or until you have read the book.
