I discovered Roy Dupuis when I first saw La Femme Nikita in 2005, and became very interested in his work. Everything I learned about him, particularly his involvement in environmental issues and charities, made me like him more. He prefers to work in his own country, and in his own language; his early stuff can be difficult to find, and much of it is in French. I made a pretty serious attempt to find and review all of his work, particularly those early titles. I sort of came to a natural end to my quest in 2007.
I'd like to publicly thank Marilyn, who was kind enough to loan me a significant portion of her Roy Dupuis collection, and Julie, who shared many titles with me as we braved e-Bay together. I also wish to thank Monsieur Dupuis himself for being awesome and making me want to write about him.
