Five Shows That Switched Networks
by
Mark Greig
When Lucifer, The Expanse, and Brooklyn Nine Nine all return next year they'll find themselves with new homes thanks to all those nasty cancellations back in the spring. This of course has made a lot of people happy because Yay! More episodes! But at the same time it has a lot of people worried. When shows have changed networks in the past the results have not always been great. Babylon 5: Series Review
by
Mark Greig
"Now get the hell out of our galaxy."
J. Michael Straczynski’s Babylon 5 was the last, best hope for a rival sci-fi television franchise to challenge the dominance of Star Trek. It failed. And let’s be glad it did. Last thing we needed was another bloated franchise knocking out a never ending cycle of naff spin-offs. Instead, let’s be thankful for what remains to this day as one of the finest sci-fi series ever made. But it did take some time before it became that.

Rest in peace, Andreas Katsulas
by
Billie Doux

Andreas Katsulas, a marvelous actor, died of lung cancer on February 13, 2006.
I will always remember Katsulas fondly for his outstanding work as G'Kar in the classic science fiction series, Babylon 5, which was my favorite show during its five year run. It was an ambitious series, monumental in scope, about an interplanetary war seen through the interactions of alien ambassadors on a diplomatic space station.
