Angel (1999-2004) ran for five seasons, and I reviewed every episode starting with the pilot. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my absolute favorite show of all time, period, but I loved Angel for itself; it was never just a second hour of Buffy for me. And it was canceled during its best season. Imagine how wonderful season six could have been.

My Angel reviews were posted during the run of the show on three different sites, all of which are now gone. They're also some of my earliest reviews. I've thought about rewriting and/or extending them because I have a lot more to say about Angel now, but have decided against it because it's sort of fun seeing what I initially thought, and initially wrote.

About the Angel comics: I've gotten requests to review the comics. The thing is, I did review Buffy season eight because I was so desperate for more Buffy, but it was a struggle for me, probably because I don't read comics and I don't really relate to the medium. So that's why I decided not to review the Angel comics. (If you have writing skills and you'd like to review them for us, you could apply to become one of our writers.)
