Kara Zor-El was just a girl when her planet, Krypton, died. She was sent to Earth to look after her infant cousin, Kal-El. Her spaceship was knocked off course and by the time she arrived on our planet, Kal-El was already Superman. Kara’s life revolved around a job where her bitchy boss couldn’t get her name right until a plane crash forced her into revealing her powers to National City. One makeover montage later, she became Supergirl. With the help of her sister and her friends she fights evil and defeats bad guys with her superpowers and super positive attitude. While occasionally cheesy, Supergirl is a perfect antidote to the dour broodiness of most of the DC ‘verse.

Our current Supergirl reviewer is Victoria Grossack.
